The Bakuran Council of 12, mysterious and powerful, they were once reveled some of the greatest and most revolutionary jedi masters of all time head of one of the largest and most thriving orders.
Bakura's outer rim location and huge cities made it a perfect place to recruit and train new jedi. and for a long while, all was good and peaceful there.
Until a knight was promoted, he was sired as the youngest person ever to sit on their council at the age of 18, but no one sensed his real intent. Angelos Damascus seemed a peaceful young man, full of promise and dreamy eyed gazing into the future with seemingly clairvoyant precision, it was for this reason he was promoted to the council, mostly for his foresight, yet there is a darker side. not only did he know this, but all the time during his training, unbeknownst to the master he was assigned to, he also had another master. one not of jedi origins, teaching him the ways of sith alchemy Skilgannon.
Skilgannon's influence was not poisonous at first, he assured Angelos that it was a means to help him with his jedi training, however over time the lessons began to take him to places he didnt wish to go, learning how to drain someones life force entirely and combine it with his own. with this in his mind, he was forced to hand over his mentor to the correct authoritys.
Skilgannon was soon sent to prison for several dozen counts of murder in efforts to prolong his life.
It was at around this time when he was promoted to the council, still in turmoil from the loss of his mentor he abided by the councils decisions for a long while, the 12 of them building up a giant reputation in the eyes of the universe with their acts of bravery in the fields of battle against the sith. Several years later after the wars were shortly over. The council was informed of a Visitor from the public who demanded an audience.
Feeling confident that nothing would be able to stop them, the council now headed by Angelos sat, listened and watched as an old hermit clambered into the council chambers and ambled to the middle of the room, before pulling a small podium like stand from the innards of his robes, and placing a small spherical golden sphere on the top of it. holes marked the surface of the sphere and ornate runes were etched into it on all sides.
Bemused the council simply stared as a red gas begun to seep out of the ball, they were mortified as they began to feel their powers being sapped, Quickly Falling unconscious.
The hermit quickly flicked back his hood, and revealed his face as skilgannon before shutting off the contraption and walking to angelos, whom he promptly shook back to consciousness.
As Angelos Opened his eyes he looked up and saw a blurry image his old mentor looking down at him
"Now, you work for me...."
A humble man from birth Atremedis was scouted out by the Jedi temple on Bakura by Grand master Vora Dyer who appraised this child's miraculous regeneration abilities, on further investigation of his powers, it was discovered that instead of blood his body had produced specially designed stem cells with a haem group, enabling them to perform the same role as blood normally played however, because of this, when wounded his body automatically regenerates any damage, literally any organ can be repaired. even the brain, however it was discovered that after many years of training under periods of stressful interaction, such as sparring. this regeneration could not take place. in order to regenerate he needed to be perfectly calm, and in a state of focus.
With all these factors in account his calm demeanor and willingness to help everyone, he quickly joined the healing wing, and began using his natural talents as a healer in order to help treat the people of the academy, it wasnt until he was the age of forty however that he eventually reached the rank of master, and twenty years after that he was promoted to have a seat on the council.
When skilgannon proceeded to poison the entire of the council Atremedis was the one least effected, his skill with medicine making him able to isolate the disease into portions of his body, specifically he trapped the illness in his lungs as he inhaled the red dust, unable to get rid of it entirely, he is still forced to endure the torment of needing to ingest the liquid in order to survive.
-Overall - Atremedis hates violent behavior and will only fight when forced to, he's the calmest and arguably the wisest on the council, providing intricate and unique healing techniques... he is however still a gifted saberist and will fight if forced to, but he will not kill.
