| Last Guard Standing This training drill is to hone a Guard's focus. They're surrounded by four(or more if the arena permits) other guards and they must be the last one to survive. The initiation sequence helps build patience and control, and will help with reactive-coordination. With so many opponents to focus on, one must calculate the battle at every given second... they must analyze the weakest and see who is the strongest. Strategy works great. Initiation Sequence: Each participant grabs a corner, the rest stand out. They are to rest on a knee in a ready position. The arena moves in counter-clockwise, therefor, the first guard is to initiate this sequence by rising up into secondary ready position(pressing C). Once they have fully risen, the second person rises, then the third, then the fourth. You may not rise until the guard before you has. Control that anxiousness. Once the last person has risen, the first person ignites their lightsaber, then the second, the third, and the fourth. At the fourth ignition(or last), the battle commences. Battle Sequence: The last saber has been ignited! The guards engage in a free-for-all and must defeat each other. Once the last guard has fallen, everyone is to resume their positions and rotate one position counter-clockwise. The fifth(or next participant waiting in line) may replace the first participant, the first replaces the second, and so on so forth. Finishing Sequence: The rotation has been completed. If the instructor has not chosen to repeat this training module, the guards are to bow to each other, the instructor, and then shall form a line 3 by 2, or 3 by 3 and await further instruction. | |
