These reptilian creatures are thought to have gone extinct by the indignous species of Himerius V, after the great splitting of the seas and blackening of the sky, these dragons are thought to have dissapeared. It is still unknown as to whether they still reside in the deep caverns under volcanos just biding their time.. Nadir miners have sometimes commented on hearing great rumblings from below..

Extra Detail
These seemingly humanoid plants have a motile body comprised mostly of a plant-like material. They are unable to walk or move if the wind is too strong, as such they have strong burrowing hands and legs, and they spend a large portion of the day in the plains with eheir bodys submerged. As they fold their mouths out a single beautiful flower resides in the middle, When submerged this looks like a simple flower on the plain until an unsuspecting victim comes across it.. when touched this very much like a venus fly trap causes the mouth to close, once this occurs the plant secretes a neurotoxin and venom through multiple ridged points on the inside of the mouth. While the neurotoxin makes the victim fall unconscious the venom begins to kill the prey. The victim is then free to digest.
The ability to move has given these beings the ability to avoid harsh weathers by simply moving into caves and dwellings at set periods of the year, at this point unsuspecting prey frequently enters caves in order to seek shelter and when they do they are caught killed and eaten.
The flower in particular secretes the scent of both an irresitable nectar and the scent of a freshly killed lamb, not too thrilling when mixed together but it is enough to confuse the signals of their hungry prey.
This species is inedible. | |
