| Do not fear!  The Senate has issued a quick response via message throughout the galaxy. Senator Vindicus of New Alderaan
"To those who wish to do us harm... We will not be destroyed by such acts of terror... Is this justice? If so it is justice of a sort i have never seen before.
Those who choose to end life, will inevitably meet their end at the hands of those they seeked to destroy... When we find those responsible for causing such acts that have ended so many lives needlessly, they will be brought to trial for their misdeeds.
People of the Galactic alliance, Do not fear... We are the sons and daughters of freedom and democracy. The fate of all that is good is in our hands, the force will not see us fall."
A noble sentiment, but as with many politicians, can we truly trust his words?
