| Ok I have a problem I can not load onto my computer I get this message
Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \Windows\system32\config\system
You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows setup using original setup-cdrom Select r at first screen to start repair.
Do so and keeps going back to the same message help.

| Maybe a checkdisk should bring some light to your problems. Since you say windows wont load it might be a corrupt file i nyour boot sector. Read the following instructions from the website: http://kb.wisc.edu/page.php?id=5097 | |

| Not 100% sure, but it could be that your hard drive decided to poop out. I had that happen to me one day without warning. | |

| The best suggestion I can give you is to attempt a complete hard drive format and complete reinstalation of your OS system and start over from scratch. Reinstall the sound and graphics card drivers and all the other software you currently have in your possession. After that, install tune up utilities after you installed everything and make a backup to revert to if something goes awry again and each month initiate a full system scan for any oddities. For internet protection however, install Nod32 antivirus software. And that will keep your PC optimized to full capacity.
I wish you luck in restoring your pc to its former glory.

| All fixed now . Evan my sound if finally working. So what i found out was my HDD just did not want to cooperate anymore, so i got my Vista HDD format it back to Original setting's and put it on my extremely old machine. Capow Worked! Then most of last night my sound card did not want to register, the slot on the mother board was fried, so i changed it and worked. On top i am back. Can lock this now if you desire. | |
