(RP)Short Biography -
Amris Kurin, a human born on the planet Corulag, to the couple, Mantra Kurin and Diana Kurin. His mother, Diana, was a painter and a theater addict, whereas his father was a Swoop engineer, both made good wages, so Amris was given what he needed, when he needed it. Amris did spend a lot of time with his parents, either by helping his dad fixes swoops, trying to learn and gain more knowledge about those interesting machines or helping his mom with her paintings, or accompanying her to the theater and movies, when his dad was too busy at work to take her himself. Although this didn’t stop him from mingling with his peers, even at a very young age, 6, Amris would get himself into far larger trouble than his age would suggest, Him and his friends would go around the streets playing various kinds of games and looking for “Adventure”.
As Amris grew up, surrounded by art, swoops, and good friends, He became a cheerful, sociable, and a street smart, young lad. During one of his adventures with his friends, he encountered a female wearing dark robes, with a hidden face, he noticed something dangling from her waste, Amris was amazed on how that thing looked and the way it was designed, it was strange and didn’t look like anything he has seen before in his life!, Even though the women looked at him with deadly eyes ignoring him and his friends, he tried to speak to her, she glanced at him and kept on walking. He followed her with his friends, to the community school near Amris’s district, Amris and his friends pretended to be class mates, and sneaked into the school trying to “stay on her tail”. A teacher saw them wondering about the halls aimlessly, she yelled at them to get into class, so they randomly ran into one and took seats. They waited a bit for the teacher to stop talking, but she wouldn’t. After an hour or so, the same women they have been following appeared in the class room, speaking about the force, Jedi, and she also mentioned that today there will be tests for force sensitivity. Amris was excited by the thought of being a Jedi from the stories he had heard on the streets about how awesome they are. So he was the first to volunteer for the test, but to his misfortune the teacher noticed he wasn't a student enrolled in the school and wanted to throw him out. Luckily the robed female insisted on him staying and being in the test, which he was, but was promptly sent home afterwards. The next day he was startled by a knock on his bed room door. He opened the door, yawing and rubbing his eyes, to his surprise it was that very same robed lady, with his parents. She informed him that he was force sensitive and will be sent to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to be tested some more and who knows, maybe start training to become a Jedi, a vessel of the force and a messenger of its will.
Amris didn’t even have think about it and attempted to hug the lady, though she pushed him away, gently, resisting the hug. He then said goodbye to his crying mother, a tear resisting father and to his friends.
